Overview

As the Chief of AI, you will be the company’s top AI leader, combining deep technical expertise in audio, signal processing, and machine learning with strategic vision. You’ll define the long-term roadmap for how AI transforms our core audio products while also being directly involved in prototyping and model development. You’ll bridge executive decision-making with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring that our company is at the forefront of audio-driven AI innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Vision & Strategy: Define and champion the AI strategy with a focus on advanced audio and signal processing applications (e.g., music generation, speech synthesis, acoustic analysis).
  
  

• Hands-On Research & Development: Actively contribute to model design, prototyping, and code reviews - not just directing but building alongside the team.
  
  

• Technology Leadership: Evaluate and adopt state-of-the-art architectures in audio ML (transformers, generative models, source separation etc.).
  
  

• Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Product and Engineering to translate AI breakthroughs into differentiated, user-facing features.
  
  

• Governance & Ethics: Define responsible AI frameworks for generative audio, including licensing/IP compliance, fairness, and safety.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ML/AI with a strong foundation in audio, speech, or music technologies.
  
  

• Published research, patents, or shipped products in audio ML, generative sound, or signal processing.
  
  

• Strong track record of hands-on coding in Python or similar.
  
  

• Experience leading AI teams while remaining deeply technical.
  
  

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, or Computer Science.
